1. | interdigital: T. mentagrophytes ddx – erythrasma, bacterial infection, candidiasis |
2. | moccasin type: T. rubrum (mnemonic: the red man wears moccasins) ddx – psoriasis, PRP, keratoderma, eczema |
3. | inflammatory or vesicobullous type: T. mentagrophytes ddx – dyshidrosis |
