There are a lot of long lists under this presentation, some of them too long to be useful differential diagnoses, but they are presented for thoroughness. Many of the presentations are distinct enough, others require a differential.

 

always remember purpuric drug (including EM)
anything can become purpuric in a patient with low platelets or a coagulopathy

 

Clinical Differential Diagnosis

Purpura - bilateral lower extremities leukocytoclastic vasculitis, benign pigmented purpura, scurvy, KS

 

neonatal purpura (blueberry muffin baby) - cmv, rubella

 

 

 

Etiology Differential Diagnosis
