| • | double (open) comedone is characteristic |
| • | usually undergoes a spontaneous remission with age (over 35) |
| • | ddx: sinus tracts and fistulae associated with ulcerative colitis |
Treatment:
| • | intralesional triamcinolone (3 to 5 mg/mL) |
| • | (Ken Greer, MD) tetracycline 1.5 to 2g/day (divided BID to QID) |
