• | leukoedema (is non-hereditary, is patchy rather than diffuse, and the white spongy changes to the mucosa disappear upon stretching) |
• | pachyonychia congenita and dyskeratosis congenita – have a later onset and are associated with hair and nail changes |
• | oral focal epithelial hyperplasia |
