Light electrodessication followed by 70% TCA
Accutane 10QD (vs. 20 to 40QD for the first 5 -7 days each month)
Joseph Bikowski treatment "pearl":   sebaceous hyperplasia - Accutane 40mg/ week

 

 

Other Sebaceous Gland physical findings: (all are normal variants and not disease)

juxtaclavicular beaded lines
hamartoma moniliformis normal variant in which there is minor fibrosis around otherwise apparently normal follicular structures on the nose, temples, forehead, and neck
Fordyce spots = ectopic sebaceous glands best seen on buccal mucosa just inside lips
also seen on penis, vulva, and areola
