Reactive Perforating Collagenosis
| • | familial; begins in childhood |
| • | an aberrant reaction to connective tissue injury |
Acquired perforating collagenosis
| • | pruritis is present in all cases and usually severe |
| • | associated with DM, renal disease, AIDS, liver disease |
| • | best viewed as a nonspecific reaction to skin injury |
