Treatment:
| • | treatment = 5% acetic acid (white vinegar) wet compresses X 20 minutes 4 or 5 times/day and or silver sulfadiazine cream (Silvadene); |
| • | if resistant – PO ciprofloxacin 500mg to 750mg PO BID |
| • | hot tub should be drained and cleaned with an acidic solution |
| • | prognosis - self-limited (so watchful waiting also works) |
