Who Should See Dr. Miteva?
All patients (of any age) sufferings from hair loss (alopecia) in Hollywood, Florida, of all kinds. Those with patches, diffuse hair loss, shedding, changes in the hair texture and slow hair growth can benefit from Dr. Miteva’s extensive expertise. Many patients are frustrated that hair diseases are not treatable. While there is no cure for most hair diseases, if the right diagnosis is established and proper treatment is initiated with appropriate medications and hair care products, improvement can be achieved. The goal is to achieve significant improvement, even recovery in non-scarring alopecia (hair loss, in which the hair is not lost permanently) and stop the progression in scarring alopecia (hair loss in which the hair falls permanently if treatment is not sought right away).
Dr Miteva is trained to diagnose and treat hair and scalp diseases, including using dermatoscopy/videodermatoscopy and performing scalp biopsies. She is one of the world-renowned hair pathology experts who has expanded the knowledge among physicians on how to diagnose alopecia on horizontal sections under the microscope.
Dr. Miteva is one of only two doctors who specialize in hair loss in South Florida, and the only specialist in Broward County! Book your appointment today!
