The first thing that you will notice when you call is that a live person answers the phone promptly; not an automated attendant. And that person is eager to help you. Our practice focuses on the “patient experience” and personal attention. We will take time with you in the office. We will always return your phone calls promptly and personally. And the phone number on the answering machine for emergencies, is our home phone number, not 911.

"OPEN ACCESS" SCHEDULING
We respect your time and pride ourselves on running an efficient practice with minimal waiting room time. We have an “open access” scheduling policy – that means that you can usually see us within one day of calling for an appointment, sometimes even the same day. This is important to us and helps make our office special.

EXPERIENCE AND CUTTING EDGE CARE
The combination of experience and cutting edge care is unique to Minars Dermatology because it is a father and son practice. We have been providing medical, surgical, cosmetic & laser dermatology in Hollywood since 1976. We currently have eight lasers and provide general and localized ultraviolet therapy. If you have an interesting or difficult case, you may be seen by both doctors, and receive the advantage of an immediate second opinion from a potentially different point of view.

EXPERTISE IN THE FIELD
Both doctors are Board Certified Dermatologists, and are active faculty members at the Department of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Each month they travel to the Jackson Hospital Clinics where they teach residents who are learning dermatology. Their "official" titles at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine are:
